    Hello,So I moved to Windows 11 recently and hooked up existing devices. Everything except one works. I have this Brother MFC-8440 multifunction MFC Printer, Scanner, Fax machine. While I was using Windows 10, I used this MFC for all three functions. But after I moved to windows 11, MFC's print function works but NOT the scanner or the fax. I downloaded and installed Windows Fax and Scan as they had removed Windows Fax and Scan from windows 11. Per recommendation, I installed this but when I try to scan a document, the application tells "No Scanners Were Detected". Why I cannot use the MFC's sc

    Brother Printer & Scanner MFC-J6510DW

    My Brothers printer and scanner No. MFC-J6510DW. I am able to print a document but not able to scan a document. This is a new laptop which does not show the scan function. How do I get this to work?

    Scanner on Brother MFC-465CN refuses to run - printer works fine.

    Trying to get the scanner on my Brother MFC-465CN to run, but having no luck at all.

    Have tried all solutions listed on this thread (Redirecting) - but cannot get the scanner to work. Had no trouble getting the printer to work.

    The Brother MFC-465CN machine is connected via USB cable to my computer. I am running Windows 10 Home - 64bit version 21H2.

    • I have tried installing numerous drivers, checking the scanner after each installation, without success
    • tried running setup programs normally, as well as in 'Compatibility mode' (compatible with Windows 7 - as well as running them as Admin.)
    • tried disabling my firewall
    • tried keeping the machine off & unplugged until just before driver was installed
    Any new help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Windows 10 does not allow scanner on Brother MFC 8460N

    I have now HP laptop with windows 10 home. It does not allow me to scan from my printer Brother MFC 8460N. Previously I could scan from windows 7.Need updated driver. Brother wont provide driver for scanner on MFC 8460N or no support.

    However Brother MFC 8460N can print from windows 10. dont know how to fix the scanner driver for windows 10
