Windows 10: Brother Printer HL-1270N quit printing via USB on Primary PC in last months

My Brother HL-1270N quit printing via UAB on my primary PC running Win10. I have two other computers that run Win 10 and both can still print via USB using the same printer driver and the same USB cable. I've deleted and reloaded the printer in settings many times and still no printing. When I try to print a test page the printer que window display that a test page is sent and stays in the que and doesn't print. The status column shows "spooling" for a brief instant than goes blank.


I suspect something to do with Win10 version or updates and have searched this forum and only find entries from mid 2020 that don't seem to apply to my Win10 version:

Windows 10 Home Won't Print to Remote Printer


I have three computers.
Machine 1: Windows 10 pro, has the USB Brother HL-5040 printer
Machine 2: Windows 10 pro, prints OK to the remote printer.
Machine 3: Windows 10 home, Used to print, but not anymore (THIS IS THE PROBLEM).
I’ve tried everything that I can think of, and would appreciate any suggestions.
I did these steps on Machine 3 that did not work.

1. Remove the printer device.
2. Add a Printer
3. The printer that I want isn’t listed
4. Select a shared printer by name
5. Browse
6. Select the displayed Machine 1.
7. Select the displayed Printer.
8. Next
9. Failure “Connect to Printer”.
10. Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or Hostname
11. Next
12. Set Hostname to Machine 2, and set port name.
13. Detecting TCP/IP Port
14. Additional Port information required.
15. Device Type – Standard, Brother Port Server
16. Next
17. Detecting the Driver Model
18. Install The Print Driver
19. Select Brother and Brother HL-5040
20. Next
21. Replace the Current Driver
22. Printer Name (setting it to HL-5040)
23. Next
24. Do not share this printer
25. Next
26. You’ve successfully added “HL-5040”
27. Finish

Printing on Machine 3 puts the document in the print queue, which reports error printing.
Printing from Machine 2 to the printer on Machine 1 works perfectly.
All three machines are in the same HomeGroup. Machine 3 can access the shared files from Machine 1.

 

Wireless Brother printer will not print

HL-2270DW works fine on old 64-bit Windows 10 PC.

Got new PC. Printer not discovered. But, I can go to Settings->Printers->remove printer, then ->add printer

Then 'the printer than I wanted wasn't listed->bottom radial -add a local printer or network printer->use existing port LPT1->choose printer from list and it lists my model HL-2270DW->use the driver currently installed (and I just reinstalled)->share? =yes->printer
installed, print a test page. In less than .0001 seconds I get:

Brother printer HL-2270DW is in an error state (it is not)

I can go back to my old PC and print fine. I know which network the old PC, new PC and printer are on (the same).

I restarted my router.

I can get ZERO information about the 'error state' - simply tells me it is in an error state and therefore cannot print.

 

UJnable to print from Brother HL-L2320D laser printer

I work from home and split time between my HP Pavilion P6716 f-b desktop and my Lenovo Edge 15 laptop.

Both are wirelessly connected to an HP Photosmart 7520 All-in-one color inkjet printer

I also have a Brother HL-L2320D laser printer connected ONLY to the HP Pavilion through a USB cable.

I was able to print wirelessly on the Brother printer from my Lenovo laptop through my Verizon / Actiontec wireless router.

However after downloading Windows 10 it no longer works.

How can start printing wirelessly on the Brother laser printer from my Lenovo laptop again?
