Brother Printer wont connect due to Core Isolation - Memory Integrity issue indicating incompatible drivers. Is this a Brother software problem or a Windows problem and if I turn Memory Integrity off is that only a Printer vulnerability or a computer vulnerability or both? I know the software loads and the printer works if I turn Memory Integrity off. I ask this question because when discussing this with Brother Support they seem to be at a loss to explain given the Software package they recommended to me is supposed to be compatible with Windows 11 and yet it wont load unless I turn off Memor

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for reading. I noticed a notification on my laptop recently, saying that the memory integrity is turned off. Want to turn it on it said that it would be unable to do so due to an incompatible driver. The driver in question appears to be one for my brother printer (BrUsbSib.sys).

I've uninstalled all of the related brother software from my laptop, but I can't seem to get rid of this driver. I was hoping someone could tell me where I should go or what I should do to either get rid of this driver or reactivate memory integrity.

Memory integrity fails due to incompatible drivers but none listed

As title states, I get a message saying "memory integrity can't be turned on, try resolving any incompatibilities with your drivers". When I go to check the list of incompatible drivers, however, I get this an empty list of incompatible drivers.

I have:

Tried to restart system

Updated said drivers
used sfc /scannow with no issues

Hi Roger,

The file csrbc.sys seems to be the USB dongle driver. If you no longer use the hardware, you can delete the driver.

Open an Admin Command Prompt and run:

• SC.EXE DELETE CSRBC
  

Alternatively, you can delete the driver using Autoruns.

• Autoruns for Windows - Windows Sysinternals (Run Autoruns as administrator, find the csrbc.sys entry, and delete it)
