  1. Browser and app trouble


    So I have my Microsoft and windows accounts linked, I dropped my laptop a few weeks ago and not sure what happened but now the browsers and app screens all look as if the text is always highlighted along with the pictures. Im attaching photos along with this. I've always bought a new desktop recently and linked my accounts and have encountered the exact same problems. I have the latest windows 10 updates, if anyone can help i'd appreciated it.

  2. Trouble with default browser

    Do you get any error message/code?

    I request you to perform the steps below to set Mozilla Firefox as you default web browser.

    • Go to Start > Settings >
      System.
    • Choose Default apps, then scroll down to
      Web browser.
    • Tap or click the browser that’s currently listed as your default, then choose Firefox
      from the list of apps.

    Hi Llyan,

    If you're having issues with setting a default browser, it can be due to some changes in the configuration settings. To assist you with your concern, we recommend that you set your preferred browser as the default by following the steps listed below:

    • Type Settings in the Search bar and press
      Enter
      .
    • Choose System then click on Default apps.
    • Scroll down, and click Set defaults by app option.
    • Click on your preferred browser, then click Choose defaults for this program.
    • Click Select all, then Save.

    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Are you getting any error messages?

    Furthermore, to help you change the default program for your e-books file and set it to your preferred app, we recommend to follow the steps below:

    1. Click on Start, search for Control Panel and click on it.

    2. In the Control Panel window, search for Change the file type associated with a file extension and click on it.

    3. Scroll-down and locate for .epub file extension, then click on
    Change program button.

    4. Under Other options, click on More apps and select your preferred program when opening .epub files.
