Windows 10: Browser session issue since yearlier this month.

Hello,I am seeing people experiencing issues with Chromium-based browsers after the update of 24H2 & in some cases 22H2, so therefore I am unsure if this is correlation or causation. The problem is observed on both Windows 11 24H2 and Windows 10 24H2 / 22H2.After a lock screen, the session that is current on the browser is lost or in case that there is a stream playing - frozen.I have tried the suggested resolution by switching off the "Use graphics acceleration when available" switch, but after some tests, no improvement was observed.Has anyone found a cure to this problem yet?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Changing default browser to IE and wifi issues

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  In desktop search, type default app settings and select the result.
  
• 
  Under Web browser, click the current browser (EDGE).
  
• 
  Choose Internet Explorer and set it as
  default.
