    Browsers open, close then reopen on startup.


    Whether I use MS Edge, or Firefox, or Chrome, or DuckDuckGo... When I start the apps they immediately pop open, and within 1 second the browser immediately closes, then within 2-3 seconds the browser reopens and seems to be working without major issues. This seemed to start after Chromium was somehow pushed to my desktop and I had to uninstall the app, shortcut, and related install program. Don't know if it's related. Similarly, I've had some recent problems with VPN seeming to not allow me to open basic websites. Again, I don't know if this is related. If I could back up to settings abou

    Google Chrome Windows Reopens After Reopening It

    When I leave a Chrome window open and shutdown Windows, when starting it again, the window reopens (with all the tabs). How can I disable this?

    PS: I would also like to disable that Chrome opens up every tab again after I close the window. So when closing the window and opening it again that no tabs are open. Because I already select that Chrome should open ONLY chrome://apps on StartUp

    PPS: Maybe the reopening of the whole window has something to do with Windows settings also?

    Note: This is not a duplicate as suggested above, since the problem also occurs when I just reopen Chrome without restarting Windows...

    Browsers open, close then reopen on startup.

    IE11 immediatly reopens itself whenever I close it out.

    We suggest that you follow these steps to clear the Windows Store cache:

    • Press the Windows key+R keys to open the Run dialog.
    • Type WSReset.exe, and click on OK.
    • The Windows Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.
    Let us know how it goes.
