Windows 10: Browsers running slow & not responding on Windows 10

Hi, running Windows 10 on HP 250 G6 Core Intel i5-7200 8GB 1TB laptop, recently all my browsers like edge & firefox have a very slow speed to browse, keep crashing not responding, and doesn't keep up with my typing.

I have Avira free installed, have run ccleaner, defragmented, but the issue is still happening.

Internet speed works fine on my daughters tablet, and our phones etc.

Can you help please?

Error: "Internet Explorer is not responding" and "Website not responding" while accessing the browser on Windows 10

As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
• Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
• Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.

Cortana is slow to respond.

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop and it is running Windows 10. My problem is that when I first turn my computer on and ask Cortana a question it is slow to respond. It isn't slow after my computer has been running for a while. Any suggestions?

To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
