I think the problem might be that the Nvidia video card is disabled and some drivers of Nvidia are causing trouble.
At least that is how I understand this code

That probably was the cause, yes. I reenabled the GPU and after a tdr failure and a power state failure I managed to configure the driver verifier and reboot. Now my PC is completely frozen on the desktop. Do I really have to wait 48 h if nothing is happening and I can't use it?

Check for updates for Nvidia drivers and reset driver verifier.

Just tried 355.98. The crash takes more time to happen, but still happens. (10-20 min vs. 10-30 seconds with previous drivers)

When have you bought your laptop?

  6. Are you using Chrome..? Or Intel rapid store tech? *Tongue

The OP has chrome, not IRST.

But yet, the dumps are specific to the drivers from the GPU so far I've checked.

Yes, and yes (at least it's installed, don't know what rapid store does or if it's running)

There are a few options you could try.

I doubt that the Nvidia drivers from Nvidia will work at the moment and you don't get driver updates anymore after a while from your manufacturer.

Just tried the lastest 356.50 and I don't crash like I used to. About 40 minutes of HotS in, I crashed in a different way though ... I didn't get a VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE blue s screen, but instead a notification that the driver crashed and was recovered (and a black screen, only thing that I could display was the Windows taskbar).

I like to see it as progress, maybe the next driver will be stable ...
