  1. BSOD after approximately 5-8 hours of the computer Running

So this has started happening over the past 3-4 days. I will get onto my computer and (since i like to game) ill play for about 8 hours until i get the BSOD. The error code i first got was 0xc000021a. Then after multiple trys of trying to fix it, the only code i get now is critical process died. I get into my BIOS and my hdd doesnt show up but everything else does, my processor, gfx card, ram fans work. But my hdd doesnt show up. So i re adjust all the wires and still nothing. After getting fed up with the whole situation i go to bed for the night. Wake up the next morning to a working computer. So ill be watching youtube playing games for id say another 8 hours and the same thing happens again. It did this 3 times so far. So at this point im saying wtf. At this point im thinking i need to buy a new hdd. I need reassurance tho as i have tried lota of things includig chkdsk and dism stuff. Also to add on, sometimes i get the stop code critical proccess died.

    My computer
    gtx 960 4gb
    i5 6600K
    B-150 Msi m3 motherboard
Master cooler hyper 212x (i think)
    Toshiba 1tb hdd
    Kingston 2x 4gb (8gb of ram)

I would love to get some help as im kind of stressing out about this situation

Also i've seen that these crashes seem to happen while im watching youtube although i think that it is coincidental. Also just about for 5 seconds the audio goes all staticky and the mouse moves at about 5 frames per second, if this information helps at all. Just really want to get this issue resolved as it started the day i got off school *Sad

    :)

  3. Upgrade started, why is my computer frozen?

I started upgrade to Windows 10 at approximately 8 pm CMT and the computer appears to have gone into sleep mode and now won't respond and 8 hours have passed with no change. Computer was running Windows 8 and had a lot of disc space on it. What should

Have you been doing any overclocking or do you use software or hardware raid?

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    4) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

    5) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 runs. This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
    Memory problems. - Microsoft Community

When the memtest86+ has completed 8 or more runs please use the windows snipping tool to create and image and post into the thread.

    6) Run one of these SMART tests on your drives:
CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World
    HD Tune website
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring

    7) Uninstall all nvidia software/applications
Use Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from your Graphics card manufacturer or from the NVidia website. When you do this be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver.Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.6.7

    8) Uninstall any MSI\Gaming software/drivers. If would be optimal to reinstall after the bsod troubleshooting. If you need them now then reinstall new software/drivers.

    9) Uninstall all Mcafee using the Mcafee uninstaller: Antivirus Software, Internet Security, Spyware and Malware Removal McAfee
