    BSOD after computer waking up from sleep mode


    Yeah, still nothing at all.
    Edited: Maybe I'll have to wait for another BSOD. Right now it just won't go into sleep mode. I'm unaware if it's affecting anything else. Though, I'm playing a game and my fps drops more than it should and I did everything to fix that. Could be just the Fall update or patch but seems like no one else is having this problem.

    I'll just try memtest86 for now, until I can get memtest86+ working.

    Edited: I did 9 passes and found no errors.

    What were the troubleshooting steps that enabled you to use Memtest86+ version 5.01?

    Sorry about that, but I meant the memtest86 (not +) had no errors. I did get memtest86+ to work with another flash drive but not sure if it was a fluke but later tonight I will do memtest86+ with pictures. It's a different brand flash drive, also the one that works only has 8 gb (Lexar) and the other that doesn't work was a 16 gb (Kingston).

    Okay. So the problem was the flash drive?
    When Memtest86+ version 5.01 completes 8 or more passes please use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post the image into the thread. The more the passes the better. If there are any problems with posting the image please use a one drive or drop box share link.

    Yeah, I think so.
    Here's a picture from one drive of the memtest86+.

    Edited (October 31, 2017): So far, everything seems fine for now and sleep mode worked but I tried for half an hour. Going to try sleep mode over night tonight. Still not sure why that happened to cause BSOD in the first place though.

    Edited (November 4, 2017): So sleep mode works now because it doesn't come out of it now by itself but today after waking it up I had a BSOD. The minidump couldn't be created because it froze at 0% unfortunately.

    I'll come back when I can recreate the BSOD and hopefully I can get some information this time.
