    BSOD after having connected DELL XPS 13 laptop to DELL monitor or Samsung TV using HDMI cable


    I have a almost 2 year old DELL XPS 13 which up till recently has worked perfectly without a glitch. I have in the past connected my laptop to a tv screen for presentation purposes using an HDMI cable.


    I bought a DELL monitor last August and ever since then it has caused random BSOD issues. What I found out through troubleshooting is that it somehow is affecting the WIFI driver. Once I remove it and reboot and reinstall all is fine until the next time I hook up the monitor. It's also causing issues when I hook up on to my home Samsung tv using HDMI. I have done this over and over and it's routine, and reproduceable.


    Is it maybe a windows update of drivers in combination with some drivers from Dell that are causing the issue. I have at Dell's recommendation, removed and reinstalled a number of chipsets and updated to the latest BIOS version. But that has not helped.


    I have not connected to an external screen for the last 2 weeks and my laptop is running just fine. Any ideas on how to remedy this issue?

    Cannot connect samsung laptop to dell monitor using HDMI to VGA adapter

    I have a Samsung series 5 ultra laptop running Windows 10 and I have tried to connect it to a Dell P2210 monitor using a HDMI (from laptop) to VGA (to monitor) adapter. The monitor display shows "No VGA Cable" and I cannot find the monitor on my laptop.
    I have tried to extend the laptop display by using keys FN + F4 but it is still not working. Is there something wrong with the compatibility? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I trying to watch Netflix. I have HDMI cable connected between the Dell xps 8910 , windows 10 I have a signal on the tv but it's computer icons at the bottom of the big screen filled with a flower, not the Netflix screen from my computer. How do I fix
