BSOD after New BIOS Dell 9550

This is my first post and attaching files for most recent BSOD. I installed the latest BIOS for this system (5 month old XPS 955). This machine has had the SSD replaced TWICE, the System Board replaced once, TWO trips back to TX for repair. Untold hours working with Dell Tech Support. All of this to no avail. The BSOD come at about 2 a day AT LEAST. Most recent was about 8 hours after the latest BIOS was installed.

Any help would be appreciated. Any suggestions on how to get Dell to replace this machine (it has been unusable for about 4 of the 5 months I have had it).

    Thanks

    :)

  3. Reinstalling Win10 onto a new blank M2.PCIe SSD.

Hi. The SSD on my Dell XPS15-9550 Ultrabook broke. A Dell engineer fitted a new SSD (a simple task) after updating the BIOS, but could not install Win10 from a download, with neither UEFI nor Legacy mode set in BIOS. The Dell Recovery thumb drive, it was
discovered, also would not work with a blank SSD. Is anyone aware of a solution (one that Dell apparently is unaware of)?

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks, Angie

Contact Dell and tell them to replace it since they have not been able to fix it. If you don't get any satisfaction, ask to speak to a supervisor. Continue escalating until you get a satisfactory result. Do not take NO for an answer.

No dumps in the zip file you uploaded. If you run any kind of program that cleans up the hard drive it may be erasing them.

For some reason the Dump Files are not being created by the BSOD's. I have the computer configured to do a mini-dump but the files never get created. Also the computer never restarts on its own after a BSOD - I have to do a hard restart.

In any event after talking with Dell this morning they agreed to replace the machine. They will send an equivalent or better configured machine within 3-5 business days.

This whole process has been frustrating but at least they did step up to the plate today. I think I just got a early production machine and maybe this later one will be better. When this started I knew what a BSOD was but frankly do not remember seeing one on any of my computers until this one. Hopefully all that ends well will be.

That's good news. No way you should have to suffer through this kind of junk.

Just wanted to follow up on the Dell actions regarding the replacement Dell 9550 they sent to me.

I have been using the new machine for about a month now. Have NOT seen a BSOD yet (knock on wood). The replacement machine has been working just fine. The "upgrades" they made to the replacement machine were to 32MB of RAM Memory (from 16MB) and a 1TB SSD (from 256 GB SSD).

Needless to say they have (re)enhanced my opinion of DELL greatly.

    FYI
