    After trying to resolve a fairly minor issue in a otherwise healthy W11 I decided to use System Restore to a recent restore point. After the restore finished Windows was running but showed some issues opening some apps etc - but after the next restart it stopped on a Critical Process Died BSOD - which start up repair and safe mode woudnt fixThe issue of Critical Process Died BSOD after Windows Restore has been mentioned in other posts over the years.The best option seemed to be a fresh W11 install over the same partition which creates a WIndows.oldI found Windows.old contained Program files an
