  1. BSOD after uninstalling Ksapersky

    Hi
I have had three instances of BSOD and also some very high CPU levels (100% for more than half an hour) after uninstalling Kaspersky to use only Defender and Malware Bytes. No other programs have been installed. The Laptop is totally updated.
    Thank you for any tips.

    :)

Blue Screen of Death after windows update

After uninstalling these updates and running a full scan, at about 30% into the scan it hits me with another BSOD...this time it took a longer to kick me off with BSOD.

    BSOD After AMD driver uninstall.

I have uninstalled old AMD drivers, then restarted PC and got BSOD. After that I entered safemode and deleted AMD left overs, now I get another BSOD at startup in normal mode.

There are two Minidump files, after normal uninstall of AMD drivers, and after cleaning leftovers from AMD drivers.

At this moment I get rtkvhd64.sys BSOD. Some people say this is realtek drivers problem, week ago I have updated them, but everything was ok..

    BSOD after uninstalling Ksapersky

Dump indicates a problem with RTKVHD64.sys.
Code: ffffe189`c4747f98 fffff801`ffffffffUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\RTKVHD64.sys, Win32 error 0n2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for RTKVHD64.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for RTKVHD64.sys RTKVHD64+0x3effff[/quote] Driver Description: Realtek High Definition Audio Function Driver
    Driver Update Site: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...Level=3&Conn=2

See if you can find a newer driver, maybe Windows Update. If not, try rolling the driver for your Audio back a level, see if that helps.

You also have mismatched memory so it would be a good idea to remove the 4GB DIMM, see if that gives you better stability.

  5. Hi,
thanks. The memory has been installed in the Laptop from day one though and has never given any problems.
The high CPU usage is occasional but bad enough to warrant shutting the PC down. Also, sporadically, basic functions like the Windows taskbar or Settings will not work. After a while, they're back.
I don't know if that sheds further light on the issue.
    Thank you again
