Windows 10: BSOD after update on 17 April 2020

Discus and support BSOD after update on 17 April 2020 in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Have had a few BSOD problems for last month after windows updates.     BSOD after update on 17 April 2020


    Have had a few BSOD problems for last month after windows updates. A hard reset helped for a bit...but after 17th April I cant get past BSOD.


    Now just get blurred login screen.


    Various errors, like:


    Page fault in non paged area

    Kernel security check failure

    System service exception ntfs fail

    Pfn list corrupt


    Tried Reset, startup repair, rolling back to previous restore point via blue screen,


    Ran system file checker and chkdsk: 'cannot check as write protected'


    Ran scannow : 'found corrupt files, unable to fix some'


    Only thing I can think to try next is a usb windows install

    :)

    New OS Update on April 17?

    I am quite perplexed. my boyfriend and I received an email on April 17 saying there is a new phone os update on April 17 but up till today, I didn't see any notification and on the Nokia Lumia's site, the phone software is still listed as the older one.
    Did anyone else receive the same notification but no update?
