Windows 10: BSOD after windos update 18 may 2020

My HP 143 is shoving bsod after may-2020 update. Can't get into fail safe Mode. Trying uninstalling update gives an error. Please help.

BSOD on 2/18/2020

Last week (2/18/2020), after having our desktop off for 10 days, it suddenly shut down after being on maybe 10 minutes. We had it on maybe 30 minutes the day before to check emails with no problems. Now all we get is bsod with error code: "bad system config
info.' We have tried multiple fixes (cannot start in safe mode, can't reset, won't go back to previous setting, etc) and cannot get it to start up. I have access to the recovery screen with fixes, but none will work. We can access a command prompt and haven't
had success with any fixes. No new hardware or programs have been added.

Is an update the cause of this?

 

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.
