    Windows Update (BSOD)

    Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

    Cheers.

  3. KB5037591 Causing BSOD

I installed this update yesterday on my machine which is P3 Ultra. Today in the morning I had repeated BSODs. Yesterday I am assuming the update was successful but I did "update and shutdown".

I rolled back using the recovery options to a date (10th of May) and that did not fix the issue. In the recovery options then, I uninstalled an update (it did not show me what it was uninstalling) and it has removed KB5037591 & moved me back to KB5036620.

The computer now appears to be working fine. No BSODs since then. They were very frequent in the morning like every other minute.. couldn't do anything.

My question is, is there anything in this update that can be causing this to happen? I have Lenovo also investigating the issue but I wanted to see if anyone else has faced the same and / or reported to Microsoft as I cannot find how to do that.

I am also confused why the roll-back didn't work and "uninstalling" the update seemed to have solved the issue. I have paused updates for 5 weeks now and wondering what will happen when it re-installs these updates again.....

  4. BSOD after Windows update KB5037591

Does Windows 11 Update KB5037591 Undermine Folder Navigation?

Complaint about Windows 11 Update KB5037591. It eliminates the arrows situated to the left of the address bar which facilitate navigating between folders. Undoing the update has restored the feature.

Actually, this happened before. After undoing the update the first time I paused Windows Update. When the pause ended yesterday, KB5037591 was reinstalled. The problem returned, so I had to undo it again.

I'm using an HP Victus Laptop.
