Windows 10: BSOD after Windows update

Hello -


We have several computers Windows 10 (40) that keep go to BSOD and restarting. I was able to get into safe mode and uninstall updates and everything seems to work good, but after a restart it is the same process. I have stopped updates on the computers for now - but wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

This is the report that I got with Blue screen viewer: Value is Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal.

Note: the Machine it's performing great but if i dare to touch the update option BSOD is ready waiting for me*Big Grin

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.


Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
