    whea_uncorrectable_error during gaming - BSoD

    i7-4790K @ 4.0 GHZ
    32.0 GB - DDR3 1066.5 MHz
Asus - Maximus VII Hero Haswell/Z97
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
    W10 64x

    BlueScreenView saying it's hal.dll, ntoskrnl.exe, PSHED.dll

Here is a full dump report - https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhwo5wfw6q9rzx8/DESKTOP-9E5TSF2-%282020-03-15_18-41-03%29.zip?dl=0

Brand new W10 OS install from Windows 7. BSoD across both OS's in same games/operations.

I'd really appreciate help. I can't get to the bottom of this. I tried creating a bootimage on USB to test RAM with imageUSB but it keeps saying "Location/Destination specified in Step 3 cannot overlap with any of the drives in Step1. Please correct before continuing", so that's out. Memtest says RAM is ok. At wit's end.

    :)

    BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD, Dump File attached

    Hi Groggubus,

Welcome to the 10forums BSoD - All relevant info attached :)

Please remove / disable items from the startup in taskmanager
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble and increase the boot time.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

BSoD - All relevant info attached [IMG]

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please follow this suggestion for the BSOD
    1. Please open BitDefender and go to the modules,
    2. Go to the firewall settings,
    3. Uncheck 'Block port scans in the network',
    4. Reboot your system <-- IMPORTANT

    GPUz Incorrect Info GF117

I've got the GT620M in a Zenbook and the newest version of GPUz has it listed as a 40nm part whereas all other info on the web suggests its 28nm. Can you investigate, W1z?

    Thanks
