BSOD almost everyday. Bug Check Code 0X00000124

Hi everyone! Unfortunately Im having some issues figuring out what is causing my BSOD. It has been doing this for quite some time and I have replaced my HDD and my GPU already with no results. I am leaning more towards my RAM or an overheating issue. I attached the dmp files. It only happens once, usually when I am playing a video game. After it reboots I have no further issues the rest of the night. I feel like the blue screen occurs somewhat soon after I initially start playing whatever game, after that its smooth sailing. I ran a cpu stress test and a gpu stress test and everything went fine, The max temp my cores got in the stress test according to speccy was 64c.

    BlueScreenView gave me this info:

Bug check code-0x00000124. Caused by driver hal.dll

    :)

    Bug check 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffff838152b4a038, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

    Hi,

I have frequently been getting a bluescreen on my Acer Aspire E523 laptop.

    The bug check is 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffff838152b4a038, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000),

and the bluescreen error code is 124.

I think it's a hardware error but i am not sure.

(The laptop has already been back to acer support and had a new main board previously. )

The dump file created is in the google drive below.

    022618-10031-01.dmp

    Thanks

Check all fans, make sure they are working and clean. Make sure the heat sinks are firmly connected to the CPU and GPU.

    Information
BSOD almost everyday. Bug Check Code 0X00000124 [IMG]

MemTest86+ is a diagnostic tool designed to test Random Access Memory (RAM) for faults. MemTest86+ will verify that:

    • RAM will accept and keep random patterns of data sent to it
    • There are no errors when different parts of memory try to interact
    • There are no conflicts between memory addresses

Memtest86+ runs from bootable media to isolate the RAM from the system, no other components are taken into account during the test.

BSOD almost everyday. Bug Check Code 0X00000124 [IMG]
Warning MemTest86+ needs to run for at least 8 passes to be anywhere near conclusive, anything less will not give a complete analysis of the RAM.

If you are asked to run MemTest86+ by a Ten Forums member make sure you run the full 8 passes for conclusive results. If you run less than 8 passes you will be asked to run it again.

BSOD almost everyday. Bug Check Code 0X00000124 [IMG]
Note MemTest86+ has been known to discover errors in RAM in later passes than the eighth pass. This is for information only; if you feel there is a definite problem with the RAM and 8 passes have shown no errors feel free to continue for longer.

Running 8 passes of MemTest86+ is a long and drawn out exercise and the more RAM you have the longer it will take. It's recommended to run MemTest86+ just before you go to bed and leave it overnight.
