    BSOD and then instant restart

So my pc has started to act really weird for no reason. This started about a month ago when I was playing cs:go and the pc crashed on the map loading screen, right at the end. After that, pc crashes every time when I try to join a game and now it has gotten more "serious" I guess and crashes even on games like hearthstone. It never happens when Im browsing the web, only on gaming. Things I have tried: Prime95 for 30 minutes without issues and max temp 71c memtest86 for 4 hours without any errors, also windows memory diag with no errors flashed BIOS back to older version DDU my nvidia drivers and used multiple older ones and most recent reinstalled windows sfc scan and chkdsk /f /r System info: Gtx 980Ti Intel 10700K MSI Tomahawk Z490 G.Skill Ripjaws 3600Mhz CL16 Seasonic 660w plus platinum PSU from 2015 WinVer 21H1 build 19043.1023 The problem seems to be a kernel error 41 Log Name: System Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power Date: 26/05/2021 2.32.21 Event ID: 41 Task Category: (63) Level: Critical Keywords: (70368744177664),(2) User: SYSTEM Computer: DESKTOP-QLKVKS6 Description: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:
