Windows 10: BSOD at random

Hi guys i know there are numerous posts about this but need a bit of help. I am recieving very random BSOD crashes. all are ntoskrnl.exe errors as identified using bluescreen view, i have carried out numerous tests as follows:


1- updated all drivers directly from manufacturers support pages.


2- updated all AMD chipset and video driver packages directly from AMD support pages


3. ran memtest86 for 5hrs constantly and no errors showed


4 ran prime95 to stress cpu for 12 hours and no crashes occurred


5 removed and reseated the 8gb ram stick installed 4GB built in and 8gb is installed so 12GB total still errors occur at random but no fault on memtest


6 gave up and complete fresh windows 10 install was done including total ssd format, this made it less frequent but has now happened twice since again always a ntoskrnl.exe error


7. further memory tests ran for 12 hours constant with HCI Design memtest with memory under 96-97% load showing 0 errors

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

Random BSODs "Bad_Pool_Caller"


This BSOD happens anywhere, irrespective of BitDefender. It takes place even when the antivirus is MSE in case of Windows 7. The most common cause is an expired trial or a cracked installation. Some examples:
