Windows 10: BSOD atleast 3 times a day whilst gaming, brand new Lenovo Y540, please help.

Hi,

Like the title says im getting constant BSOD every few hours whilst gaming, atleast 2 a day, so far only on Mount & Blade Bannerlord, but I occasionally have crash to desktop on Modern Warfare, may or may not be related.

• It is not overheating, GPU hovering at 65c, and CPU hovering around 78c
• I added 8GB Crucial RAM stick and upgraded to a Sabrent 1TB SSD when new 1 month ago, but the BSOD only started in the last 7 days-ish, ran fine before that.
• BSOD stop code: Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
• BSOD what failed: FBNetFlt.sys
• Unfamilair with event viewer but didn't see much of use.

Any advice what so every is great, I don't have spare RAM sticks or SSD to pull in and out ect ect, but if someone can say for certain, I have a dodgey RAM or SSD then I shall refund and replace the parts.

BSOD on a brand new Lenovo Y700 running Windows 10


Hey guys,

a week ago I bought a brand new Lenovo Y700 with a pre-installed SSD. Ever since I am experiencing BSOD while opening for example Photoshop or Lenovo Solution Center. 99,9% of the times it gives me this error: "kernel security check failure" and the other 0,01 it's something else, but still BSOD.

HELP ! BSOD with brand new computer.

Hi,

I just bought a brand new computer running with Windows 10.

When I first turned it on, I had a BSOD within 1min. I had to do a "hard" restart because it crashed again when it restarted.

While I was doing the initial configuration, it may have crashed 3 times more. Then, I started to install the usual software (Office, Adobe, Anti-virus...) and it crashed again at least twice.

I did all the steps that are listed here.

Frequent BSOD whilst gaming


Hi all, I have been getting this BSOD whilst gaming very frequently and for quite some time now, and am finally at my wits end. Any help solving this would be very much appreciated. I had originally thought that the issue was with the Elan mousepad drivers, but updating them didn't help. The usual line is driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (ETD.sys).
