This has been going on for nearly a year now, and what at first happened every once in a while now happens multiple times a day. Included is the mini dump from the crash this morning. My laptop is fully up to date, all drivers should be up to date as far as I can tell, and i've run multiple tests. I ran SFC last night that lasted a couple hours, it stated it found corrupted files and fixed them, however my system crashed earlier today. My laptop is not getting hot, and it is on a cooling fan to be sure. I stream and this is driving me insane. I had prior IT support that didn't help much, ot

  2. BSOD Event ID 41 BugCheck Code 80

Hi, I've been having random crashes for a while and figured I'd finally make a post about it. I often get these windows-kernel-power errors after a sudden crash (no blue screen, no minidump, pc simply shuts off and reboots after a few seconds) but this time the kernel-power event came with a BSOD and a minidump.

Below is the event viewer details:

Log Name: System Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power Date: 10/18/2023 3:17:10 PM Event ID: 41 Task Category: (63) Level: Critical Keywords: (70368744177664),(2) User: SYSTEM Computer: JOEYS-DESKTOP Description: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Event Xml: http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> 41 9 1 63 0 0x8000400000000002 14761 System JOEYS-DESKTOP 80 0xffffa089c44eef88 0x0 0xfffff80589d5be7b 0x2 0 0 0 0 false 0 0 false 0 0 false false 0 0 3

latest minidump and msinfo32: Microsoft OneDrive

by the way, I have already run SFC and DISM commands, and passed the windows memory diagnostic with no errors

Let me know if you need any other information.

    Thanks!

Windows crashes randomly, multiple times per day, error code given is 41 (63), bugcheck 0x00000113

For the past week or so, my computer has been crashing randomly. It does not blue screen, it just blacks out, and reboots after ~10 seconds.

I've dug through the event viewer each time, and find a critical error listed as 41 (63) - the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

The only other error that I found in the event viewer is that the system recovered from a bugcheck, "The bugcheck was: 0x00000113." It did generate a dump file, of which I have copied over.

What may be causing these random crashes?

  4. BSOD Bugcheck Code 80 Event 41 multiple random stop errors and full system crashes.

[BSOD] Event 41, BugCheck Code 292

The Bugcheck 292 converted to hexadecimal is the Bug Check Code 0x00000124. You can see at this link how to convert the Bugcheck to hexadecimal.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/...

The Bug Check 0x124 also is generic, this Bug Check only indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. You can see this information in the link below.

    "Cause

This bug check is typically related to physical hardware failures. It can be heat related or a result of defective hardware, memory, or even a processor that's beginning to fail or has failed. If over-clocking has been enabled, try disabling it. Confirm that any cooling systems such as fans are functional. Run system diagnostics to confirm that the system memory isn't defective. It's less likely, but possible, that a driver is causing the hardware to fail with this bug check."
