Windows 10: BSOD - BugcheckCode 127 - Windows 11 - Dell G3 3779

Ever since my upgrade to Windows 11 in November 21 I keep getting BSODs - usually it happens when I leave my computer and it tries to switch power state I guess. This happens on a daily basis but not every time I leave the computer. Dell G3 3779 Dedicated GPU issues, not using dedicated gpu?

Hello, so my friend's Dell G3 3779 is not using the Nvidia GPU for gaming and using the integrated one, this is on a freshly installed win10 with latest BIOS, and the latest drivers make it run minecraft at 12 FPS

We tried installing older nvidia drivers and the performance improved but not as good as it was originally, and with the older drivers the GPU usage in task manager stays at 100% with occasional dips in both usage and FPS.

 

Dell G3 Speedstep not working?

The core clock frequencies and voltage on my Dell G3 are locked at full speed and max voltage. Speed Step/C-States are enabled in the BIOS, I'm using the balanced power plan in Windows (min CPU 5%, max CPU 100%) and there is no abnormally high CPU load. I'm confused... *Confused

Edit: The power cord plugged in was keeping the clocks at full speed. There must be some Dell specific power settings I'm missing.

Hello,

I am facing the blue screen on a notepad running under Windows 8.1.

Some weeks ago, the computer started to display the blue screen, from time to time, with the following message :

Unexpected kernel mode trap.

In the Windows Event Viewer, I can find Critical errors at the time when the blue screen occurs :

Kernel-Power 41, BugcheckCode 127.

The trouble does not occur when Windows runs in Safe mode.

Would you any idea about the possible causes for such blue screen occurrence ?
