  1. BSOD caused by missing drivers

My problem is that I have been getting a BSOD every 5 minutes rendering my desktop useless. Part of the issue was the file C:/windows/system32/drivers/nvlddmkm.sys was missing. I've tried the media creation tool and it seems to just makes a image of my current computer's setup. Which causes the missing file/files to carry on over to a fresh install of Windows 10. How do I make sure nothing is missing from the Windows 10 files. Or do I have to purchase Windows 10 to guarantee that no part of the Windows 10 ISO is missing.

    :)

[SOLVED] Multiple random BSODs, all pointing to the kernel

No BSODs yet but I haven't been playing World of Warcraft which I suspect to be a possible cause.

Was the driver verifier step necessary or just a suggestion?

    BSOD caused by missing drivers

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:
