Windows 10: BSoD - caused by video applications - video driver error from two different GPUs.

Hi, just wanted to post a query about getting BSoDs fairly frequently.

1. I have gotten BSoDs since building this PC. I performed a memtest up to 7 passes shortly after purchasing the PC, I did not get any errors.

2. Previously, I got BSoDs and it always reported the file at fault as nvlddmkm.sys; the error was 99% of the time IRQL_LESS_OR_NOT_EQUAL (Nvidia 1050ti).

3. Recently, I switched to a new graphics card - an AMD 5700 XT. When I got the new card, I uninstalled drivers using DDU and reinstalled new drivers.

4. The frequency of BSoDs has roughly remained the same. They tend to occur while gaming. The file at fault now is atikmdag.sys.

5. Yesterday, I did a clean installation of windows to try solve the problem, but it has persisted.

6. I ran driver verifier per the instructions here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/driver-verifier-tracking-down-a-mis-behaving/f5cb4faf-556b-4b6d-95b3-c48669e4c983.

7. With driver verifier, a crash always occurs either immediately or within a minute of launching a game.

Constant BSOD in VR: Video Scheduler Internal Error

Did you create a restore point if so you can restore it from when your system is working fine if not you can follow this steps actually work for me..
Solution 1. Reinstall the driver if you have A discrete GPU
Solution 2. Install motherboard chipset if you have integrated GPU.

BSOD on startup. Stop code: VIDEO SCHEDULER INTERNAL ERROR


These Video schedule errors (0x119 bugcheck) are generally due to a problem with the graphics system. The following checks are usually recommended:

• Try later and/or earlier drivers
  
• Measure the GPU's temperatures at idle and under load
  
• Ensure the GPU is free from dust build up and that the fan is working correctly
  
• Reseat the GPU and check all connections are securely made
  
• Check PSU voltages in BIOS
  
• Try a different card in the system

 

No Video Playback

Hi,

• Are you able to play videos using other applications on your PC?
• Have you tried to check if offline videos are playing on your PC?
