    BSOD Help - Clock Watchdog Timeout

    Hello!

    I hope anyone can help me with this

    recently i change my old mobo to new and I got a BSOD: clock watchdog timeout. only happens when idle or browsing not gaming. I played the game 5 hours straight not single Bsod, but after back to idle or browsing the random Bsod with clock watchdog timeout

    PC specs:
    CPU: i7 2600k

    ram: DDR3

    GPU: Rtx 2060ti

    BSOD Clock watchdog timeout Windows 10

    Found my fix:

    1. Downloaded a current (April 2018) ISO of Windows 10 64-bit from Microsoft

    1. Downgraded product from "Enterprise" to "Pro"
    2. HIGHLY LIKELY issue with UPDATES for Spectre and Meltdown

    Windows now works!! those new updates are not installed yet (unless they are part of the new ISO i used.)

    Whenever i open a resource hogging website like some chess analysing websites which require the CPU and RAM my PC is crashing with the same BSOD of watchdog clock timeout whenever i run the website why ?
