  1. BSOD Crash "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", "DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER", or "ntkrnlmp.exe"

Hello everyone, I have been facing a BSOD problem for some time now. It's usually "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", "DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER", or "ntkrnlmp.exe". The crash happens at random times, roughly once a day or once every two days. Usually, its seen after I keep the laptop running without shutting it down for a few hours, or directly after turning it on. Occasionally there are black screens and freezes as well, which then make me force restart. I did fresh windows install recently hoping for a solution but no luck. I have also run the windows diagnostic tool for the RAM and Drive C without

  3. DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER bsod. All crashes pointing to ntoskrnl.exe

I've seen five dump files with 5 different bug string checks using Blue Screen view.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA(3times) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT-HANDLED(once),

    DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER(once) as the last one.

They all show ntoskrnl.exe highlighted in red.

So far i've ran the windows memory diagnostic(no errors).

Successfully Restored the Windows Component store files with DISM command.

ran chckdsk /r command and successfully repaired files.

Ran SFC /scannow multiple times successfully repairing files.

Uninstalled graphics card driver, let windows reinstall it.

All windows and dell command updates are ran. This is a Dell Precision 7560.

  4. BSOD Crash "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL", "DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER", or "ntkrnlmp.exe"

    BSOD involving ntoskrnl.exe

    Hi babazbabaz,

The attached DMP file is of the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) bug check.

This bug check is issued if paged memory (or invalid memory) is accessed when the IRQL is too high. The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS.

Lets try first the steps indicated in this link to troubleshoot the issue.

    https://www.howtoedge.com/fix-ntkrnlmp-exe-bsod...

    Hope it helps.
