    BSOD "Critical Process Died"


    Hello everybody & thanks in advance,
    My computer started crashing regurarly (once every 1/2 hour) with the "Critical Process Died" Message. I have no Idea what caused it, no
    Windows update before the crashes started. Sfc /scannow did not find any errors either.
    Any help is appreciated.

  3. Windows 10 upgrade crashes while computer is idle.

    I have not gotten the "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" blue screen (yet), but from past experience that is more often than not a driver error. I have gotten a few times "Critical Process Died" blue screen, but can never seem to track down the process which "died".

    No dumps in the zip file. Please run the beta collection tool and post the zip file it produces: log collector v2-beta08.zip

    It collects additional data that I need to see.

    Noticed several of the failures were around the startup of VMWare network drivers. Are you using VMWare? Can you uninstall it for now to see if that resolves the problem?
