Windows 10: BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_Violation error when ever I am gaming

Hello,My PC is randomly getting bluescreen of death with the error DPC watchdog violation, whenever I am gaming. I did some research into this issue and I updated all my drivers, used DDU to uninstall my graphics driver then I reinstalled the latest one NVIDIA using clean install, yet I am still crashing randomly. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD. After restart, laptop freezes and is unresponsive when running games.

Got a BSOD and DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error code. After force shutdown, laptop freezes and is unresponsive whenever playing games.

 

BSOD and Reboots when Running Games - 0x00000133 and DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION Errors

I'm experiencing frustrating issues with my Windows 11 system, where it consistently blue screens or restarts whenever I try to run any game. I've tried different games, but the result is always the same.

Error Messages:

After digging through the Event Viewer, I found the following error messages:

• "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000001e00, 0xfffff8045691c340, 0x0000000000000000)"
  
• Occasionally, I also get a BSOD with the error code "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION"

Troubleshooting Attempts:

So far, I've tried:

• Updating my graphics drivers to the latest version
  
• Running a System File Checker (SFC) scan to ensure system file integrity
  
• Ensuring my system is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates
  
• Performing a system restore to a previous point, but the issue persists
  

Despite these efforts, the problem remains. I'd greatly appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue and get back to gaming smoothly.

The DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION blue screen error can be caused by a variety of hardware, firmware, driver, or software issues. Now, you mentioned that you already changed the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers to standard. Did you update the driver as well? And also,
are you getting the same blue screen error when you play other games? Or is it only occurring when you play a particular game?
