Windows 10: BSOD due to best performance windows 11

I have a windows 11 HP pc with family edition , ryzen 7 4800H , gtx 1660 ti max Q , 16 gb of ram ddr4 , ssd and an intergrated ryzen graphics card. Originally i had crashes with gaming mode especially in league of legends so i had to resort to other game boosters such as razer cortex when i was using windows 10 at the time now 6 months after upgrading to windows 11 i tried playing some game but still same issue with gaming mode and using a game booster even the new nvidea geforce experience and setting the power settings to best performance in these apps leads to no difference in performance

Unexpected kernel mode trap BSOD Windows 11

1. Check Your RAM:
   
   • Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R.
     
   • Type MRT.exe and press Enter.
     
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform a thorough scan of your system's RAM.
     
2. Update All Drivers:
   
   • Keeping your drivers up to date is crucial for system stability and performance.
     
   • I recommend using IOBit's Driver Booster (free version) to simplify the process:
     
     • Download and install IOBit's Driver Booster.
       
     • Run the program and follow the prompts to scan your system for outdated drivers.
       
     • Update all the drivers it identifies as needing updates.
       

When you encounter a BSOD, it's essential to take note of the specific error message displayed on your screen. This message is usually located to the left side of the QR code on the BSOD screen. Providing the exact error code will help in diagnosing the root cause of the issue more effectively.

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

Windows 11 having multiple BSOD a day

I've noticed such a problem since 2 months ago. I've tried to replace my memory sticks. This is then followed by updating firmware and software. I tried to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as well. My final step was to reinstall Windows 11. All the steps have been performed but the issue is still happening, in fact much more frequent than before. Below are the errors that I see while BSOD:

• WHEA Uncorrectable Error
  
• DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
  

I've even run "sfc /scannow" and memory diagnostics, all return normal. I've no idea on what to do now. Hereby providing a .dmp file for your reference under my OneDrive. Link
