Windows 10: BSOD ERROR : Second Monitor as Projected Extend

Hi all,When I want to use my Smart TV which is of Samsung brand as a second monitor which I projected in a extend category.I am attaching the second via HDMI cable, and its connected and work as expected but after some time may be around 40 to 50 minutes BSOD error occurs and throws random error like BugCheck, Critical, IQRL error.My machine windows and drivers are upto date, when I use my machine without second monitor I dont face any BSOD errorCan some help me out this why it is happening.Some weeks before I do the services of my machine also.Minidump file for ref: 122724-16015-01.dmpThanks

Project Second screen constantly appearing.

Let us know some more information so that we can diagnose and troubleshoot the issue in a better way:

• what is the exact issue that you want us to help with? Do you want to get help in projecting a second screen or to remove the popup?
• As you've said " I tried unsuccessfully to project a screen", do you wish to project a second screen currently?
• What happened exactly when you tried to project a second screen? Did you receive any error message or any error code?

The popup comes as the system might not be able to detect the monitors. I suggest you to update the Display drivers, it may force the system to detect the available monitors. Here is the steps:

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Locate the driver and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.

Extend Display to second and third monitors

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in resolving the issue. I understand that you are unable to extend the display to second or third monitor. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, it would be great if you can help us with the details requested below:

• What happens when you try to extend the display?
  
• Do you receive any error message/code?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  
• What is the make and model of the laptop?
  

Ideally, to extend the display we can use the shortcut Windows logo key + P, and select
Extend from the menu.

Project on second screen not working

Hi,

As you have already did some troubleshooting steps to fix this issue, but to have a better clarity on this issue , we need few information.

1. How you are projecting the second monitor from the surface, whether it’s extended/duplicated?
   
2. How the physical hard connection made, USB-C, HDMI, or DisplayPort?
