  1. BSOD Errors in new laptop

I was facing performance issues with my previous laptop, as well as various BSODs, so I got this new laptop. It arrived only 3 days before I was writing this.

Here are the details of the new laptop:

    Name: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim5i 15.6"

    Proccessor: Intel 11th Gen i5-1135G7

    RAM: 8GB

    GPU: 2GB Nvidia MX450

    Storage: 1TB HHD + 256GB SSD

    OS: 64-bit Windows 10 Home
    OS version: 20H2

    OS build: 19042.746

    Serial number: PF24H0WA

Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

The previous day during the afternoon, I was transferring my data from my old laptop to my new one, and after the transfer completed I left it idle for a while. But all of a sudden I noticed my Laptop's screen go all blue and noticed a BSOD had occurred. The error stated was: "Kmode Exception Not Handled". After that my laptop restarted successfully and I was good to go.

Later at midnight, 2 separate windows of Windows Explorer were open on the laptop but no data transfer was happening. Again a BSOD occurs. This time the error stated was: "System Thread Exception Not Handled". Again my laptop restarted successfully.

After the laptop had rebooted, I ran a full scan of the laptop using the pre-installed McAfee Live Safe Free Trial version and found 3 threats. The Anti-Virus software fixed the issues then and there itself.

Earlier in the morning of the day that I was writing this query I was attending my class on Microsoft Teams and was recording the Teams session using the Windows Games capture option. Again all of a sudden a BSOD occurs and this time the error stated was: "Interrupt Exception Not Handled".

So, to sum it all up I have faced 3 BSODs in my 3 days old laptop and they are as follows:

    7 Feb-

    AfterNoon: KMODE Exception Not Handled

MidNight: System Thread exception not Handled

    8 Feb-

    Morning: Interrupt Exception Not Handled

Kindly look into the issue and direct me as to what shall I do.

    Thank You.

    :)

    BSOD - Registry Error

    Your BSOD code is 0X000000051

Here's the Google search I did for it: https://www.google.com/search?q=0x0...j5.399j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

There is a hotfix available that might help, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/810558

This thread makes a few good suggestions too: http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-hel...dows-7-pro-sp1-registry-error-0x00000051.html

+1 to listing your full system specs, OS version, etc. I did only look at your BSOD log file.

Run a Diskchk /R (I know you already ran one, so you can skip this)

    Run SFC /SCANNOW

    Report back.

  3. Getting BSOD 0x124 error

    Ignore what everone said here.

0x124 BSOD is usually related to VCCIO (VTT), run Prime95 version 26.6 with custom sizes of 512K to 640K with 50% of your memory for at least 8 hours.

If you get a 0x124 BSOD, increase VCCIO voltage by small steps, run Prime95 again until your stable.

If you pass Prime95 512K to 640K without a BSOD, then its Vcore too low. I'd suggest running IntelBurnTest with 80% of your memory to verify stability (8 to 12 hours).

Oh, and yeah, if this problem appeared all of the sudden, the reason is CPU degradation, you can prevent it by enabling C-States or adjust your overclock to use lower voltages.

    BSOD driver_verifier_iomanager error

    Hey all,

Wonder if anyone can help me with this error i keep getting on my laptop. It started completely randomly a few days ago and now i cannot boot the laptop normally at all. It goes into the bsod the restart loop until eventually attempting start up repair which also fails.

However, I can boot into safe mode just fine which leads me to believe as the error code suggests that it is indeed a driver issue with something. Thing is I have not to my knowledge installed anything new for some time so am unsure what driver could possibly be the issue here. I'm also clueless as to how to track down what is causing the error or if there are any logs i could check.

Does anyone have any experience with this error. I've ran memory diagnostics and checked the stability of my ssd and all seems fine there so am I right to assume that because it boots to safe mode fine the problem must be on the software side and not a hardware fault?

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm currently living away from my english speaking home somewhere finding a trustworthy computer repair shop isn't at all a walk in the park.

    Many thanks
    James
