    BSOD every time I try to update Windows 10 to 20h2


    I have a laptop system information below that has never had a problem with a Windows update. A few months ago March 2021, however, I got the 20h2. The update proceed to reboot my machine and somewhere around 30% produced a memory_management BSOD. Fortunately, the update was able to revert back. Unfortunately, however, Windows insists on this update and I can't figure out how to make it work or make it stop. I've tried two other times and got the BSOD at the same spot on both. I uninstalled Norton AV but still got the BSOD. I've also been delaying the update as long as possible, but now I'm

    I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

    20H2 should not be installed right-away on your device - MS said the rollout is only to a fraction of users and would be labeled as an optional update initially. Are you enrolled in WIP?

    You may uninstall 20H2 using the steps below:
