    BSOD every time I update Windows.


    Bought my laptop a few weeks ago. The first time just after 1 week I got the BSOD when I restarted for a windows update. It said "Unmountable Boot Volume". The only way to get back into Windows was by resetting the windows. None of the recovery options worked. The second time I got same BSOD error when I restarted my PC for installing printer driver. Same BSOD error repeated for few times. The only fix was to reset windows by which I would lose all my programs and settings.When it appeared for the 5th time, I took it to the Authorized Asus service canter. I explained them the problem and the

    Windows Update (BSOD)

    Hi Guys.
    I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

    I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
