  1. BSOD from usbohci.sys - possibly associated with gaming

Have been experiencing frequent BSODs, possibly associated with, but not limited to gfx intensive gaming (GTA V). Crashes often happen sometime after I close the game, and will recur for a while after. (Perhaps heat related?) During resets, sometimes Win10 cannot load my user profile, or other BSODs occur during the reboot. I have always declined to revert to a restore point, out of stubborness. Eventually everything runs okay, but I'm in constant fear of the BSOD!

The initial BSOD will cite the usbohci.sys file as a culprit. I understand this may be associated with AMD gfx drivers, but a driver update did not help.

Appreciate any help you all can offer. As a fallback, if you think it would help, I may install a fresh version of Windows 10 (which was downloaded and installed against my will as with many others).

    Thanks!

    :)

    BsoD - BUGCODE USB DRIVER

You are correct the BSOD is caused by usbohci.sys and/or USBPORT.sys

This can be caused by a device driver needing updating for some peripheral plugged into a USB port (mouse, keyboard . . .etc.)

You also need to check you have the latest drivers for controller chips on your motherboard - check out the support page for your PC/laptop on the website of the manufacturer

Start with updating your Logitech USBcamera to a windows 10 compatible drivers, your drivers are from 2008.
If no drivers avaliable uninstall/remove it and see if this stops the BSOD.

  5. So I just experienced another BSOD (minidump attached), this time saying "Stop Code: Faulty Hardware Corrupted Page". It then rebooted okay.
Thank you very much for taking a look at this. I did update the Logitech drivers, but the most recent one is from 2009 since this USB camera was only supported up through Win7.
    Any ideas? Thanks again.
