    ntoskrnl.exe BSOD

Every day I get a BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe. It's always when I first startup the pc for that day. I get errors:

    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_DATA

    Here is my System Information:

  3. How to fix BSOD caused by ntoskrnl.exe

I've done the steps you have given and surprisingly the issue got resolved. Now no issues with the battery too..!!

I don't know how to thank you, Gerry.!

    • May I ask which tool do you use to analyse the dmp files?

    • Why in BlueScreenView it showed the problematic driver as ntoskrnl.exe?

    Windows 10 BSOD ntoskrnl.exe

    Jenith,

    Thanks for replying.

Here are a few more details:

I went through the very exhaustive, almost painful, process of verifying ALL the drivers included with a brand new installation of Windows 10. In the end, the only time I get a BSOD is when the NTOSKRNL.EXE driver is the ONLY one being verified. I have gone
through most of the other "normal" detection/correction techniques, including checking the memory, the disk and anything else I could think off. The computer is not overclocked, there is nothing unusual about it. That's why I boiled down my question to:

Is there a direct way of replacing the driver NTOSKRNL.EXE?

The only other question I should be asking perhaps is: "Should I expect VERIFIER to be able to stress test NTOSKRNL.EXE without producing a BSOD in the process?"

As for the meaning of the BSOD and the processes involved, I am painfully aware of those. Most of us have spent an inordinate amount of time recovering from those over the years.

    Thanks.
