  1. BSOD - IRQ Not Less than or Equal and Driver Power State Failure

I continue to have issues with the subject BSODs. I have attempted to follow on line help (e.g., deleting devices that have issues), but continue to get them. I am not sure how to read this mini dump file and am asking for your help.

    Thanks.

Please upload copies of your dump files that were created during the last 14 days as shared files to your OneDrive with a link here.
No more than five files please.

Dump files are usually found at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the files. To show hidden files select the keyboard shortcut
Win+S, type Folder Options in the Search box and click Folder Options in the drop down menu. Select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide
    protected operating system files
" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.

What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive.

    DriverView: Loaded Windows Drivers List

Please provide a copy of your System Information file.
To access your System Information file select the keyboard shortcut
    Win+R
, type msinfo32 and press the ENTER
key. Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located.
Do not place the cursor within the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for
the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload the file to your OneDrive, share with everyone and post a link here. Reports in normal mode preferred. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode.

BSOD - IRQ Not Less than or Equal and Driver Power State Failure

  5. I updated and attached the .zip IAW the BSOD instructions. In addition to the subject BSODs, I also had critical process died and inaccessible boot device errors today, for the first time. The IRQ Not Less than or Equal and Driver State Power Failure have occurred sporadically, but a number of times each. At the recommendation of some websites, I removed my third party AV Software (MCafee and IOBIT Malware Fighter) for now, checked/updated every device in the device manager, and ran SFC /SCANNOW both in powershell and the command prompt. I see no issues, but I am not savvy in reading mini dump files and the like. Appreciate any help. Thanks, Marc

Warning Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
If you have installed any driver with Driver Booster 3, please remove them as it may cause trouble.
For laptops, install the drivers the manufacturer provides.

Please remove Avanced SystemCare, IObit software isn't quite as proper as most might think.

The Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers have been flagged, but I don't see driver updates for your laptop.
This means that Lenovo doesn't offer support for your laptop running Windows 10

  7. axe0,

Thanks for the response. I will verify my drivers and delete Driver Booster 3 as well as delete ASC.

As for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology do you have any suggestions? Is it needed? Can I delete it? I have noticed that on occasion I got an "error" message from this program only to open it and not see anything wrong.

One last question as I think it is tied to the Driver Power State Failure. On occasion when I wake my laptop up from sleeping, the screen is either black for a min or two before I get to the login, the login freezes for several mins before it lets me type my password, or worst case it freezes and I get a BSOD. An additional suggestions?

    Thanks again, Marc

Usually one can safely remove Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

It is possible that the black screen problem and login freeze is caused by your hard drive, 5.400 RPM with a SATA-300 connection.
Please follow below instructions for the hard drive.

Your hard drive is at his end, you need to replace it a.s.a.p.

Here is a benchmark of my hard drive (same hard drive type), it is slowly also getting at its end but will do for some time.
