Windows 10: BSOD is showing up whenever I start my pc and I can't reset it

Yesterday I started my pc normally and i kept it on for 3-4 minutes without doing any work on it.Suddenly a BSOD appeared and my pc shutdowned on its own, it restarted and the same BSOD showed and it shutdowned again.After 2-3 times it tried to fix itself but that didn't work and it said "Automatic Repair couldn't repair your pc".So I thought of using system restore to restore my files of a week ago. That too didn't work and it failed. I then tried resetting my pc it too didn't work. After that I also tried starting it in Safe mode which i should have done before but still the BSOD

how do i reset the start menu in windows 10 to not show tiles?

A few days ago, my friends Win10 computer stopped showing his desktop and now only shows the tiles (he wants to see the default list of programs, not any tiles).

Clicking on the Windows key or "start menu" doesn't change anything. I stepped him through some online suggestions (including Settings/Start/Use-start-full-screen and making sure Settings/Table-mode was not engaged) but they don't work.

I've also compared his settings (Start/Use-start-full... and Table-mode) to my Win10 machine and they are the same.

Assistance/suggestions would be appreciated.

Pc bsod to bios

Currently replying on iPhone, I’ll give you a proper timeline Step 1) during the program of tuneup plus my pc bsod 3 times but I was finally able to get the info Step 2) Restore point was easy and done quick which now leads to step 3 Step 3) After starting the WDV my pc bsod with the stop code of “System thread exception not handled” following the steps I open command prompt and tried to turn it off which says that nothing was changed, so then after a couple of bsod’s later I manage to go back to my restore point which now leads to a problem I cant seem to fix where when I try to open my pc it says something is wrong with my pin with error code (0x80090016) If needed I do have the tuneup plus info Trying to solve the pin problem if anyone suggestions please inform me.

 

Laptop starts work slower and shows BSOD

No, there was no minidump file.

After 4th BSOD, I did the following:

• installed last Windows updates,
• replaced Sleep with Hibernate (suggestion from here - Asus Zenbook Crash After Sleep - Kernel Power Event ID 41 ),
• performed Battery Reset - (suggestion from here - The Technologically Inclined Theologian: Zenbook Prime and the Unexpected Shutdown Problem ),
• removed some visual effects, reduced number of programs in autorun and disabled windows search for increasing overall performance.

Hopefully, it will solve the issue. I'll post here if BSOD will happen again.
