I was trying to install Windows 10 in a new X870 EAGLE WIFI7 + Ryzen 7 9700X + Nvidia GPU.as soon as windows try to install something from windows update in the background, I receive a BSOD with code KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. after that, I can´t enter windows normally, I've reinstalled it 5 times already. 2. BSOD - Kernel Security Check Failure

    Hi Ashton,

There's a lot of reason for booting in to a BSOD, like problems with the driver for your display adapter or the
video output is being sent to an unexpected port. KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE error is usually caused by Memory or Driver incompatibility issues or corruption of system data.
In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Regards.

    BSOD kernel security check failure

    Hi meakashi,

Welcome to the 10forums for both of you BSOD Kernel security after first update :)

I would suggest to visit Acer to update or re-install all the drivers available for Windows 10.
Re-installing drivers removes corruption what helps improving system stability.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
      • Double click the executable to open it
      • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.
