  1. BSoD leading to Automatic Repair loops

I had a series of BSoDs this morning, after no issues using my PC last night. I was trying to diagnose the issue, all the while being interrupted by BSoDs, and I got a System Restore process off which reverted me to a state from the day prior. That didn't fix the issue, and now finally my PC entered a loop where restarting it always leads to "Preparing Automatic Repair" and "Diagnosing" text, and then leaves me at the Automatic Repair blue screen, where it tells me my "PC did not start correctly" and gives me the option to restart which always bring me back to this same screen or to choose A

    :)

  2. Automatic Repair Loop

    Hi Charlene,

Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.

BSoD leading to Automatic Repair loops

BSOD Memory Management results in automatic repair loop

Memory management BSOD resulted in laptop rebooting. Since then, I am stuck in an automatic repair loop.

I canot get Win10 to run, only access to the Recovery Environment:

    • I have tried to roll back to a previous restore point, but this failed and will no longer work.
    • Start-up repair continues the automatic repair loop....
    • Start-up settings doesn't alter the startup options regardless of which I select.
    • Memory tests appear ok, however from what I can determine using the cmd prompt, there is a problem with the system finding the Win10 OS correctly (bootrec /scanos)
    • SFC & DISM/online fail to function.
    • Chkdsk seems ok.

Does anyone have a pointers as to what to try next?

    Many thanks.
