Windows 10: BSOD MEMORY MANAGEMENT possible fix. Windows update fix.

Basically guys I have had this Error very frequently recently. Just bought new RAM so can rule that out as a possibility for the error (Ran Windows Memory diagnostic tool and MemTest86 with no errors). Also Clean installed windows 3 times but problem persisted.


Seen that drivers or updates could be the problem. So uninstalled the latest 1903 cumulative windows update and also uninstalled my most recent graphics card update (Nvidia Game Ready driver 430.86 I think). And haven't had the Error for quite some time now. Would recommend try the fix and see if it helps.

@P4-630 , you can try and skip that step and see if it works. Just get the update manager and CPU load fix.
If it does not work, you can always try one more time. *Toast :toast:

Yeah, I've been noting it for months on the refusenik thread. They do NOT want anything older than 10 running.

I still have an HTPC on W7, and every other month I have to fix the update agent in order to get all updates. SMH....

You provided a good step by step fix. I've bookmarked it for future reference.

 

memory management bsod

Your suggested fixes seemed to have stopped the persistent BSODs, but I still tried several fixes for the ones seemingly caused by transferring files and other operations.

I updated the chipset, the bluetooth drivers, audio drivers, and went through the Device Manager updating every single driver there.

It seemed to have solved the "Memory_Management" BSODs, although I have received two "Whea_Uncorrectable_Error" BSODs(one of which was orange), probably caused by "hal.dll" since.

EDIT: I may have spoken a little too prematurely, tried putting a little more load on the system by running a game and it crashed it again..Memory Management..
