    BSOD Numerous Times.

    I have experienced several BSOD since working with Win 7 - many more than with years of using XP.
    My online reading suggested that Hibernate was to blame - I only had the problem after restarting from hibernate and had to ditch the recovery file to get the machine to restart.

    So I disabled Hibernate from the Command Prompt and used Sleep instead. Fine for a few days and then another unexplained reboot yesterday coming out of sleep.

    There's a minidump file but I have managed to get no...

  2. BSOD on numerous servers

    We have recently begun to get BSOD errors on numerous servers thoughout our estate. Each BSOD results in the following error Operating System failure (Windows bug check, STOP: 0x0000007E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF800DD4B28AD, 0xFFFFD000D3BD1848,
    0xFFFFD000D3BD1060))

    We have tried disabling SMBv1 & 2 and also disabling TCP offloading as these have been some of the suggestions we have found whilst trawling the internet looking for an explanation

    BSOD issues two random times while playing BFV help asap

    Looking at the dump file, I noted WinRing0x64.sys dating from 2013 in the list of drivers.
    Back in 2013 this driver caused numerous BSOD's - so I suggest uninstalling ALL of the programs that are using it.
    In this case it appears that EVGA Precision is using it - please uninstall that program and see if it helps.

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile BSOD Numerous Times. :)
