Windows 10: BSOD on gaming pc need help so I can get back to playing RUST!

Hi everyone,

As the title states, my gaming PC has recently started BSOD right after log in since about a week ago.

The only thing the blue screen says is system thread handled unexpectedly

I have tried running in safe mode and it does not seem to crash. Running it any other way causes it to crash

The event viewer shows that the mini dump is failing when the pc crashes.

I have Uninstalled the graphics card driver in hopes that may have been the culprit. Still crashed.

Should I reset windows? Or is there something else I can do?

I built this PC about 2 years ago and had a few issues with it going black screen while playing games, never had an issue otherwise. Any input would help.

BSOD When playing games

Hi Jackson,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Please share the information requested below:

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

BSOD Playing Rainbow Six Siege,Rust.

Whenever i play rainbow six siege it Crashs about 3 mins into a game.
Whenever i play rust its very random some times it will crash some times it will not but when ever it crashs it does not give me a bsod it use to be it just stopped it turns my computer off completly with out a bsod.
