    BSOD on idle, Error: critical structure corruption


    I have been getting BSODs frequently (approx. 10 min after restarting system)
    The BSOD is mainly "Critical Structure Corruption"

    I have done a memory test using the windows tool and it showed no errors. I have also run chdsk and received no errors. I have attempted to upgrade any drivers that would pose a problem.

    My SSD is quite old and I am wondering if this may be the issue? I will be able to test a different drive this weekend.

    PC Constantly crashing in Windows 10

    Latest BSOD came today as a surprise..I was actually able to use the PC for about 2 hours without an incident and then BSOD error critical structure corruption, or something along those lines..

    Reinstalled the graphics drivers yesterday but I got the same BSOD just now with the error "Critical Structure Corruption". Again, I was watching a video when it happened.

    Welcome to the 10forums *Smile

    Is the firmware of your SSD up to date?


    Please fill in your system specsPlease follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling and other used stuff like mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc.
    The PSU, cooling and other stuff are NOT mentioned in the tool.
    In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'. After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

    I would upload the file but my Corrupted structure corruption is at boot. It was running the latest build happily but something must have d/loaded and killed my system It was MY insider build machine 2nd one in list only error is Ram it should read 8 GiGs @1333
    I will try to get it up in safe mode and see what if anything installed or to get a log
