    Hi All

    Updated ASUS Vivobook from W8.1 to 10 a few weeks ago with no issues until today, I hadn't used it for a week or so before today.

    As it says in the title I get the error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (epfwwfp.sys). It then restarts and attempts to repair but this not successful. I've tried system restore but go an issue and had to resart and that sent me back to the original error.

    Unfortunately I cannot adhere to the BSOD posting instructions as I cannot get booted, sorry.

    Can anyone please help?

    I looked up this error and found another forum with an answer, but the question seems to make a different problem, but its worth a try.

    (I only looked up the BSOD error code, those can tell a lot with one Google search.)

    Hi PJB,

    Welcome to the 10forums.
    What is needed is rescue media, if you don't have one, please create one.

    epfwwfp.sys is a driver from your Antivirus, most likely the cause.
