Windows 10: Bsod on startup and I can't do any of the usual fixes.

Recently I'd had a few times where I'd start up windows 10 and a blue screen of death would pop up immediately then the computer would restart and be fine, I ran a few disk checks and virus scans bit found nothing wrong. But today it started up into the bsod with a 'critical process died' stopcode. It won't let me do any of the following

Check disk Start up repair Can't access safe mode Can't uninstall recent updates Can't use a recent restore point Can't use a back up restore point from a hard drive I had saved.

Reasons given tend to be "the action was not completed" or something else completely unhelpful.

On the systems restore page it says I must enable system protection on the drive and it won't let me select my c drive.

I can't even do a fresh reinstall.

Any suggestions?

Ps: if I format that add and do a completely fresh installation of windows, could I restore my old programs and settings from the system restore I have on a hard drive?

Check Disk by following these steps:

• Type cmd in the search bar.
• Right-click on the Command Prompt, then Run as administrator.
