    BSOD on Windows 10 Pro. Getting KMode Exception not handled error.


    I am in endless BSOD loop on Windows 10 Pro on HP Envy Desktop. Getting KMode Exception not handled error. First happened several times a week ago. I was able to correct through System Restore. This time, system restore did not help. I went back several times. I also tried undoing recent updates. It won't even let me start in Safe Mode. I get to log in screen sometimes but as soon as I put in pw, BSOD comes up.

    We suggest that you try the workaround suggested on DonchakVS's reply on August 5, 2015 and check if it resolves the issue:

    Windows 10 - BSOD: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED (cng.sys).

    KMode Exception Not Handled BSOD

    Started receiving this lovely error yesterday Getting BSOD KMode Exception Not handled. Tried updating the drivers, tried setting what the power buttons do. I tried CCcleaner, Virus Scans, Tried setting a dump folder. And I still get the Same BSOD with no additional Errors other than KMode Exception not handled. Please helpAttachment 182877

    BSOD with KMODE Exception not handle, no driver listed

    Hey all

    I have a couple Dell laptops here, both are Latitude E6540 with identical specs. Both laptops we had at work and at Windows 10 with no issues.

    I formatted both and reinstalled Win 7 pro, used the Dell Command Update to update the BIOS, video drivers (AMD and Intel both) and a couple other items that I can't remember. Using Windows 7 works fine, no issues. I then upgraded to Win 10 and that's when I start to have issues. After it completes the upgrade and I'm at the desktop, I start to get the BSOD and the KMODE Exception not handle with no driver listed. It then reboots, then repeats the BSOD and KMODE Exception not handle in a loop. I can get into safe mode however.

    Can I run the collector program in safe mode?
