Windows 10: BSOD only with gaming and not in stress test

Problems: everything is perfectly normal except for gaming. Every time I launch a "recent" game I got a BSOD. Most of the time the BSOD happens when rendering tasks are starting. So basically I can get to the menu I start the game and just after loading I crash. It happened sometimes in some menus with rendering tasks. BSOD can happen even in old games when I alt+tab Some examples: Star craft2, barotrauma = No BSOD cyberpunk, endless dungeon, shadow of the tomb raider = BSOD There is no dump file in the windows folder the blue screen info are: event 41 category 63 keywords 70368744177664

Freeze then watch dog timeout BSOD when stress testing

Whenever I performed a stress test with OCCT or Intel XTU or ran intel diagnostic utility, my computer would freeze then get BSOD with watch dog timeout. I did a new install of windows and now I can run the intel diagnostic utility without freezing and the CPU passes all tests. But I still get the freeze then watchdog timeout if running cinebench stress test, OCCT stress tests or Intel XTU stress tests. I ran the windows memory diag tool and memory checks out ok. I also bought a new PSU to ensure that wasn't the problem either. PC is stable when playing games - its just stress testing that I get the BSOD.

 

Freeze then BSOD when stress testing CPU

My computer crashes and I get the BSOD stating clock watchdog timeout after freezing when doing a stress test on my CPU - ram tests ok. I have checked the PSU - bought a new one and cooling and used different ram as well. All to no avail.

 

BSOD when Playing Games - Stress tests do not cause BSOD

I present to you... a weird one.

I have a brand new AORUS 15P i7 3080 Laptop that crashes and studders during games... only sometimes.

My Background. I work full time in the IT industry and have been for the last 7 years in a senior role. General troubleshooting, MS administration and and helpdesk, along with other roles here and there. around 5 years has been spent in hardware alone, so i know my way around the insides and outsides of a machine to say the least.

If you can fix this for me, you will have my respect (my 0 points on MS answers are something to gloat about).

I have attempted many fixes.

I have:

- reinstalled OS using built in recovery partition

- Reinstalled using blank version of windows 10

- Upgraded to windows 11 from blank install

- Ran Decrappifier script

- Confirmed all drivers are up to date

- Reinstalled all games

- Ran memory tests

- Ran stress tests (Graphics, CPU, Memory)

- Unplugged peripherals and used the bare requirements

- Re-seated memory and tested individual sticks in case tests didn't pick up issue

- Confirmed that there is no over heating issue (approx 70 degrees C when playing games)

This happens when:

- Playing graphic intense games such as Tarkov, Overwatch on epic settings, etc.

This doesn't happen when:

- performing stress tests of any kind, for any amount of time

Temp fixes:

- Sometimes playing full screen fixes issue (I normally play borderless windowed fullscreen)

- None have worked truly, this is a very intermittent issue, happens maybe once in every 2-3 gaming sessions

Before you say "sent it to get fixed", This is Gigabyte... need I say more. I would like my PC fixed within a month, thank you.

Anyway, I will post Updates as i go, otherwise... Please feel free to suggest anything, I will tell you if I have tried it, or how it goes.
